The Second Song (Detail of No1 and No3)
Branches with Acrylic and High-pass Glaze, Faux fur soft sculptures with inbuilt speakers.
The Second Song is part of a body of work looking at Irish poetics as a response to capitalist reality. To use these poetic and folk logics instead. Each of the sculptures speaks in a different voice with my interpretation of Amerigns song the first Druid of Ireland who conjured up the land through language. This version is not a sketch of reality but a proposition for reality. Can we use poetics to escape?SHOW LESSAllListenableRecently uploadedWatched
